Our new double-sided Word Cards provide children with valuable practice in blending sounds to make words. Arranged in five packs, each pack covers words from a different level of the Sunshine Phonics Decodables program. Each card has a decodable word on one side, while the other side has the same word along with sound buttons to support students in identifying, and blending, each sound in the word. Complex Code cards also show the phoneme, and Extended Code cards also show the phoneme and relevant grapheme.

The Word Cards can be used for explicit teaching and for small-group games and activities.
